One Bark of a Day

 Happy Labor Day!

My Journey today was strange. Something was off when the humans and I decided to sleep last night. I couldn't get it out of my head, even my ears were twitching. Long story short, I managed to rest and woke this morning ready to discover more of this place called 'home'.

Months it's been since I was brought here, but for some reason the place keeps me intrigued - bark-bark-ruff. I immediately woke the humans and they escorted me to what they call a door, not sure if that's their human terminology or if they just do not know how to pronounce exit/entrance. I made my way outside and ran around to see if my assistant was available to research and explore, but apparently, she was sleeping in this morning. I decided to explore on my own.

I managed to find the orange ball and did a speed test with it before losing it in a group of tree roots. I have made the video documentation available for review here:

Following the speed test, which went quite well if I do bark so myself...and I do bark so...I decided to check a more intriguing site, three tree stumps that appear to be arranged as a sacrificial site. I had noticed them before and left a stick there which I have never seen again. The same day I left the stick there the female human gave me extra treats. My conclusion is that this is a stick sacrifice site from many moons ago, maybe even months...Forgive my excitement about this discovery, it's my first major discovery in some time. Take A Look:

I'll sign off for now and report back at my next significant find...or if I come across a really big stick...or if the giant bear-like dog across the street ever gets free from his prison (I know it's a prison because he is always angry and yelling at me.) Until next we exchange text and gleefully pose in photographs for nothing more than something to do, Good Day!

Fenway Reviews Blue Buffalo Duck flavor

Greetings Humans, It's been a long week already, the rain, the research, and the squirrel chasing take a lot of effort.  The good news is, that I'm going to be reviewing some of the treats I eat. My humans allow me to select the one I want by showing them to me and I take the one most appealing. Here is one of my favorites:   Great Flavor, Nice Crunch, and for a dog my size, makes me feel like I actually got something. Crunchy Meter it's about 6.5 Tasty Meter it's 9, close 10. Often meter, zero - these humans should feed me treats and only treats, especially this one.

The War Rages On

Well, the war rages on. We now have a neighboring Dog battling this with us from two yards down. The squirrels have called in reinforcements, there are now about ten of them. They've also incorporated a new Air Force that reached me at the supermarket with my humans. That's right, it's climbers and flyers versus the ground troops. We are holding our own though, nearly got one by the tail before he scurried up a palm and out of my reach. Sorry, got distracted by my tail, the supermarket, yeah. So there I was sitting with the male human in the car, windows down, sunroof open. The human was listening to music and I was covering us from all angles -well, as many angles as I could as fast as I could from one side of the car to the other and over the front seat and back to the back - yeah, I was tired and needed a treat after we got home. Distracted again, that dang tail...is it really necessary?...gee whiz... Well, anyway there I was head out the window watching the seagulls fl...

Declaration of war

I have returned. I was lost in the place called 'backyard' and captured by an elite team of squirrels. I managed to break free a few days ago, lick my wounds, grab some treats, and now I will find my partner and assistant and we shall declare war. The ultimate fighting dog, me of course, my trusty sidekick, and a few treats for the battle ahead and we will conquer the backyard once again. Those pesky squirrels have gone to far, barking from way up in those trees. Staring down at me, taunting me. Their special forces of a possum and turtle and the air support from those crows won't save them from my mighty jaws and powerful running legs. I'll be calling in those seagulls that keep pooping on the car every time my human washes it for air support. That raccoon may take my side as he knows those squirrels have been eating the leftovers from the bins for months now. That's right, war, I'm going after them even if I have to call in cat support from the next street ove...
